Question 1

How do I join The 1% Club?

Accepted Answer

Start with a free 7-day trial at 1percentclub.com.au/start. Tell us about your week and your personalised plan is ready in about a minute. No card and no call.

Question 2

How much does The 1% Club cost?

Accepted Answer

Your first 7 days cost nothing, and there is no card to start. If you continue, membership costs less each week than one 45-minute session with our founders. The minimum term is the first 6-week block, then 2 weeks notice to cancel.

Question 3

What is APEX AI?

Accepted Answer

APEX (Automated Performance Excellence) is The 1% Club's proprietary AI performance coach. It provides 24/7 coaching support, analyses daily check-ins, adapts your programming based on recovery and performance data, and helps members make evidence-based decisions between coaching sessions.

Question 4

Where is The 1% Club based?

Accepted Answer

The 1% Club is headquartered on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The coaching team works with members across Australia and internationally via the online member platform.

Question 5

What does a 1% Club membership include?

Accepted Answer

Membership includes a plan built from your answers and adjusted every week, direct messages with your coach in the app, APEX AI support between check-ins, food targets that move with your training, and a full review at week 6 with your next block built around it.

Question 6

Who are the founders of The 1% Club?

Accepted Answer

The 1% Club was co-founded by Chris Mooney and Josh Webb, both based on the Gold Coast, Australia. The club launched in 2024 with the goal of delivering elite, evidence-based performance coaching to high-performing people.

Question 7

Is The 1% Club only for elite athletes?

Accepted Answer

No. The 1% Club is built for busy people aged 35 to 50 who used to train properly and have stalled: professionals, parents and business owners who want to get back in form around a full week. The system is evidence-based and adapts to your starting point.

Question 8

How is The 1% Club different from a regular personal trainer?

Accepted Answer

Most programs are templates. At The 1% Club your plan is built from your answers and adjusted by a coach every week, with APEX AI support between check-ins, so it fits the week you actually have rather than an ideal one.

Question 9

Does The 1% Club offer online coaching?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While The 1% Club is based on the Gold Coast, all coaching is delivered through the online member platform. Members across Australia and internationally access their programming, APEX AI coaching, and communication with their coaches through the app.

Question 10

Can I cancel my 1% Club membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The minimum term is your first 6-week block. After that, give us 2 weeks notice and your membership stops.

The missing link is not more effort.
